Over Fifteen years ago, my journey into the world of beauty began with a simple trip to a spa. My friend, who was getting married, she asked me to accompany her to get a facial treatment. I still remember that day vividly—the soothing aroma in the air, the calming music playing in the background, and most importantly, the beautiful smile on her face as she walked out after her treatment. I saw firsthand the joy beauty treatments can bring, and I knew then that I wanted to bring that happiness to others a fire was ignited inside my heart, and I made a silent promise to myself: one day, I will own a beauty spa and make people feel beautiful every day.
That day marked the beginning of my passion for beauty—a passion that has only grown over the years. I went on to attend beauty school with one clear mission: to make people happy, to help them look and feel their best. I envisioned a place where beauty wasn't just reserved for special occasions but became an affordable, monthly experience for everyone.
As I started working in the beauty industry, I saw a gap that needed to be filled. Many beauty treatments were priced beyond reach for the average person. I met so many wonderful women who wanted to indulge in self-care but couldn't because it was simply too costly. This inspired me to do something different: I wanted to create a beauty brand that made luxury accessible—a brand that made beauty treatments fit into everyone's monthly budget without compromising on quality.
In October 2018, Kuhle Nails and Beauty opened its doors for the very first time in Khayelitsha. What began as a small salon with a dream has grown into something so much more. Today, we have six locations serving our community—in Khayelitsha, Mandalay, Bellville, and Table View. Each location is a reflection of our commitment to bringing exceptional beauty services closer to our clients and making luxury beauty experiences accessible to everyone.
